Splash is celebrating the first day of Spring, Thursday, March 21^st by having a Prosecco tasting. We will have five Proseccos and small bite pairings all for just $15 per person. It’s a great way to bring in the Spring. The event will be from 6-9pm. Bring your friends and try some great new wines with us!

Celebrate 2013 with Splash! $25 gets you a reservation for a casual, yet classy New Year’s Eve celebration. Perfect for dates, groups and those looking for something a little more intimate. Stay close to home in North Park where we have easy parking!

You will get a wine “cocktail” upon arrival and cocktail party hors d’oeuvres throughout the night as well as a NYE champagne toast. Because so many of you love our regular menu we will be offer all of our great food items throughout the night so come hungry and order dinner to accompany your hors d’oeuvres. We will also be featuring a fun selection of wine cocktails to make the evening even more festive. We don’t offer many tickets for the event so call early to reserve your table as seating is very limited.

Zilaro Cellars Tasting

Join us this Thursday, October 25^th for a wonderful tasting event. We will be pouring 5 wines for $5. Plus any of the wines purchased that night will be 10% off. Meet the wine maker and get to know, first hand, how the wines are made and what makes them unique.

Splash specializes in small production, family owned wines and this is a great opportunity to meet one of those hard working wine makers. The event will be from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.

We will be offering the following:

2010 Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles)
This is one of the more traditional Zilaro Cellars offerings. Well balanced with a pleasant floral nose, this limited 250 case production delivers an element of exclusivity.

2010 Malbec (Paso Robles)
Our Malbec is a unique local offering that differentiates itself from its Argentinian cousin. The soft fruit is intentionally enhanced with tannins delivered by new American oak.

2009 Pinot Noir (Paso Robles)
There is nothing subtle about our Pinot Noir. Using high-quality warm weather grapes from Paso Robles, the bold flavors and ripe fruit easily distinguishes itself from its peers.

2011 Pinot Grigio (Temecula Valley)
I made this wine in honor of my mother, whom it is named after. The risk I took fermenting and aging in neutral oak barrels paid off in the form of creamy pear and lemon.

2010 Rose (Paso Robles)
This is a boutique style Rose made with technical perfection. Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon are rarely found in this type of blend, . . . which is exactly why we made it.

Toyland Parade

Help us raise money for North Park’s wonderful Toyland Parade! Join us for a fun event Sunday, August 19 from 5pm-8pm. We will be serving a six course wine and appetizer pairing.

We will have a winemaker and sommelier to help guide people through the tastings and to help educate about how pairings work. Splash will donate 25% of the sales to help support the longest running parade this side of the Mississippi. The cost is just $30 and with that you will be supporting the success of the Toyland Parade. Splash loves to support our local community and we know you do too. Come out for a great educational and scrumptious event while also supporting our community.

Splash is now open for lunch and retail wine sales every day at 11:30 am!

If you love our flatbreads for dinner you will really love our combo lunches. Now serving flatbreads, sandwiches, salads and soup for lunch every day. Make it a lunch combo including wine or beer for just $12.95. The grilled cheese sandwich with the caprese salad and a glass of Tempranillo for just $12.95 has been a real favorite. Stop in for your weekend brunch or take a break from the office and head into Splash for fresh food, great service and comfortable atmosphere. Need a bottle of wine for dinner? Receive a 10% discount on any bottle of wine to-go during your lunchtime visit.

North Park Festival of Arts

It’s time again for the 16th annual North Park Festival of Arts. Splash will be open from 10am-10pm Sunday, May 20th. Stop by the lounge or come see us at the craft beer garden, we will be serving wine and food! It opens at 11am and is located on Ohio Street.

North Park Festival of Arts is conveniently located in the heart of North Park’s historic, eclectic, charming commercial district. Centered around the intersection of 30th Street and University Avenue, the event can be accessed from both the 805 Freeway (University Ave/North Park Way Exit), the 163 Freeway (Exit University Ave, and head east about 3 miles), or by surface streets.
